Radcliffe Camera Dome, Oxford

Radcliffe Camera Dome, Oxford
The Radcliffe Camera is one of Oxford’s most iconic buildings. This delightful domed building in Palladian neo-classical style was built to a design by James Gibbs and serves as a reading room for the nearby Bodleian Library. It stands beside All Soul’s College, in the shadow of St Mary’s church. The best view of the camera (the term simply translates as ‘room’) is from the tower of St Mary’s (a small charge applies).
